Winter Cottage - December Moodboard with Aleksandra

Hi dear Mixed Media & Art friends,

The year came to an end and we already walked into na new year. Here in Slovenia we are still waiting for the real winter. I remember when beeing a kid Winters were always snowy and I kind of miss this Magical time the last few years. But inspired by the gorgeous December Moodboard I made my own Winter wonderland with a Winter Cottage. 

I used Scrapiniec chipboards to build a house and colored it with beautiful Finnabair Texture Fantasy Rust Pastes. I added snow using some cotton wool and some paper texture paste, sprinkled with artificial snow and glitter.

This is our gorgeous moodboard.

 The photos inspired me to create a festive wintery layout in white, blue and silver shades with lots of flowers and beautiful chipboards. I have also used the sketch as a base for my page.

Hello creative friends!

It's my turn to share my take on the December mood board challenge. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you will start crafting soon after the Holiday break. This time I've chosen to alter a star shaped gift box.

I was inspired by the elements of our mood board and by the festive season itself.

I started with applying a coat of white gesso, some fantastic, festive chipboards and crackle and texture pastes.

I was inspired by the house shapes, the colors and the animals & created used different paints & mists from Tattered Angels to paint the MDF house from Woodouts.

Hello dear friends! Today Olya Chelpanova with you. Our December challenge is something cold and wintery, as winter in the place where I reside is always extremelly cold, I love to stay at home and create something new each year for my house. This time I have prepared some of the ordinary New Year decorations for the Christmas tree and a mini-album corresponding with the decorations to keep memories about the celebrating the upcoming year.
