Altered book by Martina Stoycheva

Hello mixed Media & Art readers. Martina Stoycheva is with you today.
This is my last post. I`ll miss the gorgeous moodboards that Olya is creating. But we all know you`ll have a new fresh team to inspire you. This month Moodboard inspired me to create an altered book.
I also was able to create a video with the process, so you can enjoy watching it. Hope you will like it!

Anchor by Martina Stoycheva

Hello mixed media fans!
Today I - Martina will give you a little bit of inspiration.
My project is coming right out from deep inside..
It`s a  anchor.

It is from thick chipboard and I only had to decorate it.
It was a lot of fun creating it, because it is a big piece, almost 80cm.
First I painted the front and the back with white paint. Then the second layer was of white gesso.
For more texture I also added white crackle paste and a fishing net. After that the fun part begin.
Paint mixed with texture powder, mica powder, waxes.
I have to say it was a real pleasure to create this one.
Here are a few close up photos:

Tiny books by Martina Stoycheva

Hello dear followers!
Martina is here with you today for my portion of inspiration.
Our moodboard for March is quite unique!
I loved it the time I saw it.
It pushed me to try something different that I deeply enjoyed creating.
My inspiration came as I saw the books. And although it says trilogy on the moodboard
I was so inspired by the two little books on the bottom right corner that I recreated them.

They measure only 7,5x9 cm.

I decided to use one of Prima/Finnabair new sets of pastes - Military one.
I did acctualy skipped the mustard color so I can achieve this look.
Also I choose to use the map beneath the books(seen on the moodboard) in my project since I was having the right pieces of chipboard.
Then everything else was having fun creating.

Dreaming by Matina Stoycheva

Hello crafty friends!
Martina Stoycheva with you today.
This is my first white layout and I have to say, that it was quite difficult to keep it white till the end.
But still sooo much joy to create it! This month moodboard is so white and dreamy. I couldn`t help myself. It was calling me to make a layout. I took white color and used it as background.
Then the right pictures, embelishments and flowers..
DREAM come true!

Here`s my layout:

Believe by Martina Stoycheva

Hello everyone!
My name is Martina Stoycheva and I`m so so happy to be part of this fabulous challenge blog!
Thank you Olya for having me on board!

I created a canvas with deer and background with lots of texture.
White, brown and blue. How could you not like this combination, right?
We all should just BELIEVE that everyday is MAGIC TIME.

As always this month`s moodboard is another showstopper.
No surprise that I was actually so inspired by it.
