Thematic challenge for August

А мы спешим порадовать новым тематическим заданием этого месяца. И чтобы раскрыть ваш потенциал еще больше мы предлагаем создать проект в стиле альтер-скрап с обязательным использованием лампочки в любом виде. Мы ждем ваши потрясающие работы до 19 сентября и пусть вдохновение озаряет!

Всем большой привет! Спасибо большое за приглашение погостить в таком чудесном вдохновляющем блоге! По заданию я сделала винтажный шедоу-бокс с элементами стимпанка. Давно хотелось сделать себе такой, и вот задание наконец меня сподвигло.Это не просто украшение на стену (хотя здесь много просто декоративных элементов), но еще и хранилище для нескольких дорогих моему сердцу сувениров.Шедоу-бокс сделан из сборной деревянной основы, акриловых красок, скрап-бумаги, природных материалов, разных металлюшек и т. д. В работе я использовала сразу две стеклянные лампочки накаливания, самых что ни на есть винтажных, теперь таких уже поискать.

Доброго дня, вам, читатели нашего блога! 

Сегодня с вами я, Татьяна Садомская, и в этом месяце я снова стала "жертвой" нашего обалденного мудборда!!!

Даже не знаю, что меня зацепило больше цвет или сюжеты, скорее всего и то и другое. 

В результате получилась такая обложка для прописи по каллиграфии, которую я хочу взять с собой в отпуск.

Обложка тканево-кружевная, ну и конечно не обошлось без красок! Задействовала весь свой арсенал зеленых спреев и акрила).

Katja here, with my inspiration for the Moodboard in August. I have made a Forest Lady.

This lovely moodboard with the inspirational green and the forest theme, really get me started.

So me I went to the forest and pick up some branches.  I glued them on to a flat piece of wood.

Greetings from the North of Sweden!

Marie here today with my project inspired by the August Challenge.

I love spending time in the forest - alone or with my family. We often go to Orienteering contests togheter, but when alone I like to just sit down on a fallen tree and listen to the voice of the forest.

Where I live there is deep, dark & green woods. And there are light and airy woods of birch trees. They all feel and sound different but they all have something in common - loads of green foliage and different textures. And that my friends was my inspiration for this moodboard..

The Challenge:

I tried to capture the different textures like moss, old fallen trees, wet areas, different leaves & foliage by adding different layers of Finnabairs Glass Beads, Glass Glitter and Art Stones. I covered it all with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists before I added a piece from a candle decoration and the cool chipboards from Scrap FX.

Hello Scrap friends,

I was very happy for the invitation as a guest designer. With the beautiful moodboard it was easy to work. I was inspired by the outline and colors. The passage of time and the color of nature combined it into a wonderful world. I made the background with Fabrika Decoru magic paint. I made a brush with a green and an olive green. The model paste was sprinkled with Lindys embossing powder and the effect of drying on stone was achieved. I've got a beautiful metallic effect with Emerald Creek embossing powder. Then they had to stamp and have the flowers. I decorated it with chipboard, scarves, micro pearls, metal decorations. I hope you like it too, I really enjoyed making it :)
