Мне очень нравится такое яркое сочетание желтого и черного цветов, поэтому я сделала вот такие яркие контрастные тэги.

Hello everybody! It's Kareen with you today!

I'm presenting you my interpretation of the gorgeous moodboard

for this month's challenge. I followed the sketch and of course, the colors.

So here it is : 

I used crackle paint at first and then apply my ink and paint over it. 

Then, for the texture, I play with what I have. This time, I used art stones and thread.

And my layout wouldn't be finished with flowers!! 

Here some close-ups : 

The title is in French, it means : Life is beautiful. On the flair, it wrote : 

When life give you lemons, make lemonade! I thought it was so appropriate

with my cat laying down for a nap.

Thematic challenge for June

Сегодня особенный день. Наш блог развивается и набирает обороты и чтобы дарить вам еще больше вдохновения, представляем второе задание июня! Теперь у нас каждый месяц будут проходить два челленджа - доска вдохновения и тематическое. Вас ждет еще больше интересных идей, креативных заданий и конечно, невероятные проекты от наших талантливых дизайнеров! Будьте с нами, ведь мы всегда рады творить вместе!

Итак, основные элементы для тематического задания этого месяца - самодельный фон и буквы. Это значит, что вы можете сделать любую работу, но фон вы создаете самостоятельно и в работе должны присутствовать буквы. Возможно они будут, как отдельный элемент или слово, а может аббревиатура, здесь решать только вам!

Now we have two Challenges every month - moodboard and a thematic one. You will find even more interesting ideas, creative and of course, incredible projects from our talented designers! Follow us, because we are always happy to create together!

So, the basic elements for the thematic challenge of this month are the handmade background and letters. This means that you can do any project, but you create the background yourself and there must be letters in the work. Perhaps it will be as a separate element or word, or maybe an abbreviation, here it's up to you!

Всем привет! Я очень рада быть приглашенным дизайнером в этом волшебном миксмедийном блоге!!! Люблю этот блог за его креатив и безумно интересные задания и палитры! Мечта сбылась и я тут!!! Спасибо вам, девочки!!!

В качстве ПД я хочу показать вам мой холст Ловец снов....Но мой Ловец совсем не похож на типичного ловца)))) Вы же видите на холсте мой ОЭ букву F ? Так вот, буква F это заглавная буква слова Fake - подделка, не оригинал, ложь, обман .. ну и еще много-много синонимов я вложила в смысл этой буквы и этого слова)))) Мой ловец собирает и хранит все мои жизненные промахи, обманы, неудачи, .... все то, что мне хотелось бы забыть и больше никогда не вспоминать...Так вот мой ловец так и называется - Ловец всех жизненных Fэйков)))) Расскажу в паре слов ( в паре слов о нем рассказать очень сложно ;))) о процессе создания этого холста-ловца.

Hi friends! We want to present you a new and interesting moodboard!

You can make any work in the style of mixed-media, most importantly, specify in the description what inspired you: like sketch, elements, colour, text, shapes, textures, material  and maybe all at once! You can create any project – Card, Layout,  Canvas, Altered Art etc etc, but in Mixed Media. We are waiting for your work of any format until July 14

I'm not used to work with yellow, but I think that I managed to get the challenge right, after using the moodboard elements to inspire myself. Black helped me give some contrast to my page. You can find more of my projects on my blog - Valerie Ouellet
