November layout "Forest" by Svetlana Lipnitskaya

Hello dears!

So today I am with you, Svetlana Lipnitskaya and my new layout ""Forest". In the fall I love to be in the woods and collect mushrooms is a very relaxing occupation! And my work is just about the forest, about me and my inspiration! The basis of 7Dots paper and a little old lace, spray-painted.  I also added flower petals from a phenolic Kraft core - is the cutting. The mushrooms I made, really beautiful?

For my mushrooms I used Finnabair paints and some of Its products.

Hello creative souls!

I'm here today to share with you my take on the November mood board challenge. Beautiful, fall colours of our board inspired me to alter an old book cover, which I will later use as my new art journal.

I was mostly inspired by the colour palette, but also by the poetic and romantic feel of our board.

I started with applying a couple coats of white gesso on the book cover and gluing some pieces of lace in between the gesso layers.

 I applied white crackle paste randomly, dried my project and started adding some colour using rust and moss pastes diluted with water.

Our moodboard, from which I have taken the pallette, the elements of old books, washitape, the text and flowers textures.

Наша доска, с которой я взяла цветовую гамму, элементы старых книг, бумажный скотч, фактуру текста и растений.

I thought of a poets and his muse, connection between people and art, that is what I tried to convey on my spread. So my project is about how it is important to have someone who supports you and your creating.

Моей идеей было изобразить поэта и его музу, которая окрыляет его и его творчество. Мой проект о том, как важно иметь кого-то, кто поддерживает тебя и вдохновляет на свершения.

 which requires with moodboard and colors - "Poetry"

To make this challenge this month-so I had inspiration for Art journal. Before all I put layer of Gesso clear for next steps. I do background with stamps from unity stamps and washi tape.  I put 3-4 colors of Impasto paint with water and I put on Paper for background again. After I put scrap chipboard for texture. I play with old picture from Tim holtz.. I add my love Flowers and metals.

Little splatters of of colors and is done :)
