January Moodboard ''Our Story'' by Mary Tzalla

Hello dears!

It's Mary here today with a new layout based on our January moodboard.

The photos inspired me to create a dark but tender layout with the shades of my favorite black, grey, plum and white colors using lots of flowers and beautiful wood and metal elements. 
I have also used the sketch as a base for my page.

For this work, I took my favorite paper from the collection Salvage district Primamarketing - it is ideally suited to the mudboard and photos. A little cutting, lace and flowers.

Hello creative friends!

I always am very much inspired by the gorgeous mood boards our Olya creates for us. For the January challenge inspiration I've chosen to create a wintry layout with some hints of warmth.

Here is our lovely mood board:

I used 7 Dots Studio papers and tags from the "Yuletide" collection, some chipboard twigs from Scrapiniec and a vast array of dried natural elements. I played with the background using some crackle paste, doing some stamping and trying to get a few shades of plum colour using one colour paint. For the finishing touch I applied some snowflake paste here and there.

Сегодня вас вдохновляю я, АнастасияЕлена.

Вы никогда не задумывались над тем, что сухие цветы напоминают винтажные фотографии?

И те, и другие хранят секреты: кого радовали, кому улыбались.

И те, и другие когда-то были, а теперь - только воспоминания.

Наша январская доска вдохновения сразу же зацепила меня

фото с сухими розами и родилась серия карточек "Старые фотографии".

Вот такие иногда ассоциации случаются.

Dried flowers are associated with vintage photos for me.

Both keep their secrets - whom they pleased, whom they smiled.

Dry flowers on our January moodboard caught my eye and the

 ATC's “Old photos” was born.

Для фона я использовала самодельную бумагу с вырубкой часов "Carpe Diem" от MimiCut(видео про создание смотрите на моем канале YouTube). Добавила белую пасту-кракле(Finnabair&Prima). Окрасила ее дистресс-оксидом "Старое фото" и спреем Lindy's Gang "Prima Donna Purple".

В качестве декора я использовала чипборд ТМ Черешня, металлические элементы покрытые пудрами для эмбоссинга Lindy's Gang - "Madonna Robe Blue Gold", "Venus Violet Blue", "Midnight Copper", также кусочки черного вязанного кружева и штампы Finnabair. В самом конце я добавила немного воска Mystic Turquoise.

As a background I used special paper I made myself(see video tutorial on my YouTube channel) with cutted element "Carpe Diem" by MimiCut. Then added White Crackle paste (Finnabair&Prima). Colored up it by Distress Oxide "Vintage photo" and Lindy's Gang spray "Prima Donna Purple".

I decorate my cards by chipboard(Sweetcheery.ry), metal embellishments I covered by Lindy's Gang ep - "Madonna Robe Blue Gold", "Venus Violet Blue", "Midnight Copper", and also pieces of black lace and Finnabair stamps. At the end, I added a bit of Mystic Turquoise wax.
