'Rejoice' by Lisa Griffith

Good evening mixed media lovers!

It's my turn to share my project inspired by our beautiful wintery 

moodboard full of frosty blues and warm browns.

'Rejoice'

I started with a serene photo of an angel and created a mixed media 

canvas on burlap. I added lots of gesso, watercolors, lace and tiny pine cones.

I wanted to capture a sense of tranquility and peace which

we look for this special time of year.

Возможно вы захотите сделать отдельно работу только по скетчу, главное - обязательно укажите, чем именно вы вдохновились! Мы ждем ваши проекты до 14 января включительно.

Hello to all creative and enthusiastic!

We inspire you with winter motifs and a fabulous atmosphere! So, the challenge of this month is the moodboard and the sketch - "Winter melody". You can make any work in the style of mixed-media, most importantly, specify in the description what inspired you: like sketch, elements, colour, text, shapes, textures, material  and maybe all at once! You can create any project – Card, Layout, Canvas, Altered Art etc etc, but in Mixed Media. We are waiting for your work of any format until January 14.

Несколько правил участия в наших заданиях:

1. Сделать любую работу вдохновившись нашей доской в стиле микс-медиа.
2. Быть/стать читателем блога
3. Работа должна быть новой ранее не опубликованной.
4. Мы принимаем любое количество работ от участника.
5. Укажите, чем именно вы вдохновились: скетч, палитра, элементы, текстура..
6. Написать отдельный пост, указать прямую ссылку на задание и разместить баннер. 
7. Мы принимаем ссылки на ваши опубликованные работы в соц.сетях Вконтакте, Facebook, Instagram
8. Вставьте свою ссылку с работой с помощью Inlinkz. Она должна вести на пост с работой, а не на блог в целом. Для каждой работы, принимающей участие в задании, отдельная ссылка в линках.
9. По итогам задания будут выбраны победители и приглашенные дизайнеры
10. Работы принимаются до 14 января включительно

7. Use Inlinkz and please link directly to your blog post, not to whole blog
8. We accept links to your published work in social networks Vkontakte and Facebook, Instagram
9. We announce winners, which will receive prizes from our sponsors and our winners will be also invited to be our Guest Designer!
10. Works are accepted until 14 January inclusive

Всем привет! 

Продолжаем вдохновлять вас по ноябрьской доске вдохновения. В этот раз решила сделать опять панно, но необычное для себя, так как первый раз делаю его на спиле дерева. Доска вдохновения так и манила к чему то уютному, теплому и лесному. И в итоге получилось вот такое панно, которое очень уютное и семейное для меня.

На фотографии мои любимые мужчины, они и есть олицетворение уюта, тепла и семьи. 

Хотелось подчеркнуть уютность и природность дерева, и потому в ход пошел мох (в последнее время ну очень мне нравится), краски, кракелюрная паста и микро бисер.
