Hi Crafty Souls! 

Marie here today sharing my inspiration piece for the October Challenge "Alchemy". I love the dreamy moodboard this month. It got me thinking of the movies "Pirates of the Caribbean" but also a song titel from Iron Maiden. I decided to name my project after that song.

Hello dears!

It's Mary here today with a new layout based on our October's moodboard. I loved the mysterious feeling of the photos and I wanted to make something with lots of mystery and magic. 

Just take a look on the magical moodboard and you will love it too...

I got inspired by the colors, the butterflies, the stars and the magical feeling. I have also used the sketch to base my combosition.

 I used a Maja Design paper for my background and I created some texture with some graphite paste and a stencil. I made a little stamping here and there and next I added color with a Lindy's Gang spray. Next step was to color my Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair acrylic paints and a waxes.

Сегодня с вами я, Оля Челпанова, и я приготовила для вас ни много ни мало космическое вдохновение! Я влюбилась в эту доску с первого взгляда, и решила создать нечто чудесное, космическое, и конечно же, алхимическое) Получились у меня теги. Главные герои - Солнце и Луна, и вдохновил меня на эту идею чипборд из местного магазина рукоделия, который смотрится так чудесно если его разделить на две части. Цвета я так же взяла с нашей доски - золотой и глубокий фиолетовый одно из моих любимых цветовых сочетаний. Наслаждайтесь просмотром!)

Today with you Olya Chelpanova and I have prepared some cosmic inspiration for you! I fell in love with that misterious atmosphere of the board from the first sight, and has decided to create something marvelous! So, here are my couple of tags. Main heroes here are the sun and the moon, it was an entiere chipboard piece but it looks nice when divided into a couple. Colour palette is also was inspired by the board - deep violet and gold shades are among my favourite. Enjoy!)

Hello dear! 

Our October mood Board struck my heart! I love stars, that's why there are so many different stars in my work! My alter is such a magical witch's ball that they look to see the future. It is now visible lovely house, behind the house, the starry sky. This witch's ball is very old, so it was overgrown with mushrooms and became a home for fireflies.

Наш мудборд октября поразил мое сердце! Я обожаю звезды, поэтому в моей работе так много разных звездочек! Мой альтер  - это такой волшебный ведьмин шар, в который смотрят, чтобы узнать будущее. В нем сейчас виден прелестный домик, а за домиком звездное небо. Этот ведьмин шар очень старый, поэтому он зарос грибами и стал жилищем для светлячков.

Hello creative souls!

Magdalena here to share my project inspired by the dark and mysterious October mood board. I loved  the strong colours of our board, but most of all it's subtle references to Halloween. That's why I have chosen to create a couple of disturbingly odd looking tags.

Here is our October mood board:

I started with some 7 Dots Studio paper from the "Garden Party" collection and added a bit of Lindy's mists and some stamping. I added some stencilling with a stencil and modelling paste, then I heat embossed it using a golden embossing powder.

My next step was to cut out small circles from the Photobooth pictures by Tim Holtz, to fit them into pendants and to cover them with the Crackle Accents in order to achieve this crackled glaze look.
